The number that moves the market

China port stock — three years, weekly

The stock at Qingdao doesn't climb in a straight line — it saws with the seasons. But each year's peak keeps stepping higher, and this June set an all-time record.

Peaks: 132K (2023), 229K (2024), 315K (2025), 421K record (Jun 2026).

Weekly Qingdao warehouse reports, Aug 2023 – Jul 2026. Series is directional — single weeks swing hard (±60K within days in June 2026) and a few anomalous readings are excluded. Read it as a range, never a point.

Brazil at port: in and out

First arrivals Aug 2025, peak in January — drawing down since, with little fresh crop behind it.

Brazil rose to a Jan 2026 peak, then declined steadily.

The origin mix flipped

Share of port stock: Pakistani & East African seed dominated in 2023 — West African white dominates now.

Pakistan 36%→10%; Nigeria 5%→34%; Brazil new at ~10%.
